FindAZPros (“we”, “us”) is a directory and introduction service for construction and home-service work in the Phoenix metro. This page says what information we collect, what we do with it, who sees it, and how to get it deleted. We wrote it so you can actually read it.
We save your post text, name and email, plus a phone number, trade and area if you provide them. Contact details stay in our private records. We keep related posts together so you don’t have to start as a new contact each time. Posting doesn’t enroll you in marketing or a referral-fee program. A one-way fingerprint of your connection helps limit automated submissions.
The chat bubble on our site saves the whole conversation, not just the parts we reply to. That means:
We read these conversations to work out what people can’t find, and to write better answers. If you never give us an email address, we have no way to tell who you are.
We also collect posts people make in public Facebook groups about needing work done or offering it: the post text, the poster’s public name, and a link to the post. We use that to find real jobs and pros in Phoenix. When a job from a public post appears on our jobs board, we prepare public text with contact details removed. Some posts publish automatically; others need an operator’s review. The original source link can be requested by email. If one of those posts is yours and you want it out of our system, email us and we’ll remove it.
We don’t sell your information. Not to lead brokers, not to advertisers, not to anyone.
When you post a job, your contact details go to the one pro we introduce you to, and nobody else. When a pro answers a job, their details go to whoever posted it, through us.
Your job or availability post can appear on our public jobs board and For hire board. Direct board submissions are reviewed before publication. We remove contact details and known identifying information from the public text. Your contact fields aren’t published with it.
A few companies process data for us so the site works: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), and Apify (collecting the public posts described above). They hold data to run our service, not to use it for themselves.
Help-chat conversations are kept until you ask us to delete them. There’s no automatic expiry. We keep them because reading what people actually asked is how we decide what to fix. We’d rather tell you that plainly than imply a clean-up that doesn’t happen. Email us from the address you gave in the chat and we’ll remove the whole thread: every message, the answers, and the address itself. One honest caveat: if you never gave an email in the chat, we can’t tell which conversation was yours, so there’s nothing we can match a deletion request against.
For any of these, email auth@findazpros.com.
We use essential cookies for operator sign-in. We also use Google Analytics to see how the site is used: which pages people visit, where they came from, and whether the forms get finished. Google Analytics sets its own cookies for that. What you type into our forms is not part of what it collects, and we’ve turned on its email-redaction setting as a backstop.
We also use PostHog, which records a replay of your visit. That means where you clicked, how far you scrolled, and what you typed into our forms. It includes anything you typed and then decided not to send. We use it to find the places where the forms are confusing. If you have submitted a form, the recording is linked to the email address you gave; otherwise it stays anonymous. Admin pages are never recorded.
Three ways to turn it off. There is a “Don’t record my session” link at the bottom of every page. We also honour Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. If either is switched on in your browser, we never start recording and never load PostHog at all. No advertising pixels run on this site. Most ad blockers stop both Google Analytics and PostHog, and we don’t try to get around that.
To have a recording deleted, or to ask what we hold about you, email auth@findazpros.com.
If we change this policy in a way that matters, the date at the top moves and the change is described here in plain language. Questions? Email auth@findazpros.com.
